Dear Perfectionism,

I have this recurrent symbol in my dreams. It’s my precious little Maglite torch from my childhood - not very bright but powerful enough to be useful. I explore the forest and swamps with it. 🔦

🧠 I’ve been rattling my brain trying to figure out what it means, and what my psyche is trying to tell me.

Is it curiosity? Playfulness? Precision? Innocence?

Then it dropped. ⤵️

It’s probably all those things BUT something much simpler. My over-analysis is the very problem my Maglite throws light on. 👤

The torch is my way of exploring the world one bit at a time - just enough to reveal the next move. Uncomplicated, trustworthy, purposeful. Valuable.

Simple. 💡

Something lost from childhood, that I want to reclaim.
